Refund & Return Policy (Defective Items Only)

At KemetShop, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item with a defect that is caused by us (wrong item, damaged on arrival due to packaging/handling, leakage, broken seal, or manufacturing defect), you may request a return and refund within 14 days of receiving your order.

1) Eligibility (Defects From Our Side)

You are eligible for a return/refund if:

  • The product arrived damaged (e.g., broken bottle, leakage, crushed packaging affecting the item).

  • The product has a manufacturing defect or is not as described.

  • You received the wrong item.

Requests must be made within 14 days from the delivery date.

2) Not Eligible (Non-Defect Reasons)

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference (taste, aroma, etc.).

  • Incorrect use, storage, or handling after delivery.

  • Normal natural variation in olive oil (color/sediment) that does not affect safety or quality.

  • Orders with opened/used products (unless required to verify a defect).

  • Discounted items, gift cards, or promotional/free items (unless defective).

3) What You Need to Provide

To process your claim, please send:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos/videos showing:

    • The defect/damage

    • The shipping box and label

    • The product batch/label (if applicable)

4) Return Options & Costs

  • If the defect is confirmed to be from our side, we will offer one of the following:

    • Replacement (free of charge), or

    • Refund, or

    • Store credit (if you prefer)

  • If a return is required, we will provide instructions and cover the return shipping when the defect is confirmed as our responsibility.

5) Refund Processing Time

  • Once your claim is approved, refunds are typically processed within [5–10] business days.

  • The time for the refund to appear depends on your payment provider/bank.

6) Wrong Item Delivered

If you received the wrong item:

  • Contact us within 14 days

  • Do not open/use the product (if possible)

  • We will arrange the correct replacement and handle the return process if needed.
